So the show became This Week in Tech, or TWIT, and the players are the Twits. Amusing. This show goes out on AOL, Feedburner, iTunes, and BitTorrent on Sunday night. You can subscribe at www.twit.tv. From what I can tell, the combined audience numbers are in the hundreds of thousands. Are people this hard up that they'll listen to a bunch of guys chatting up news and gossip about computers? Apparently. 7 Breast size has nothing to do with risk, but height and weight do. Excess weight, not breast size, is a risk factor, particularly in postmenopausal women--and not just for getting breast cancer, but for dying of it. Thirty to 50 percent of all cancer deaths among postmenopausal women in America may be attributed to being overweight, according to the American Cancer Society. Estrogen is stored in fat tissue, so heavier women produce more of the female hormone which can spur developing cancers. And, because breast tumors are harder to detect in obese women, cancer is often found at later stages. But today we have no swiveling barber chair and only a hand mirror, so I move it wide from left to right, angling my head and cutting my eyes to see the top and sides--settling for just a bit more than 180 degrees. I nod my head once for the left angle, again for the top and finally a double nod on the right while saying my line, cool, cool. I pass the mirror back to him; he puts it down, undoes the clip at my nape and whips the cloth away from my body with a brisk matador's sweep.
